Wedding - Saturday, August 18, 2007

11:30am - 12:30pm - Marriage Ceremony

12:30pm - 1:00pm - Photos in the church

1:00pm - 3:00pm - Light Hors d’œuvres and refreshments will be available at the Amigo Spot, a restaurant located in the King's Inn.

1:00pm - 6:00pm - This time is yours to do as you please. You can click on the Activities page for a list of things to do around San Diego, or here for a list of nearby restaurants.

6:00pm - 7:00pm - Reception starts with cocktails and hor devours.

7:00pm - Dinner is served. Reception goes until 12:00am. Please bring a jacket.

11:00pm-12:30am - Should you be unable to drive yourself home at the end of the reception, car service will be provided. Balboa Park is within 10 minutes of all the hotels downtown, the marina, and Mission Valley. top

Rehearsal - Friday, August 17, 2007 (for entourage only)

5:00pm - 6:00pm - Rehearsal at the Immaculata Church. All members of the entourage should attend if possible. If you cannot attend, we will fill you in on your duties the day of the wedding.

6:30pm - 9:30pm - Dinner at Andre's Cuban Restaurant. Please note, this is a different restaurant from the one listed in the invitation. From the church, exit the campus onto Linda Vista Road and turn right (1 mi). Turn right onto Napa St. (463 ft). Turn right onto Morena Blvd. (0.4 mi). top

Bridal Shower and Bachelorette Party - Thursday, August 16, 2007, 6:30pm

6:30pm - 8:30pm - Tapas at Cafe Sevilla downtown (555 4th Avenue, SD, CA 92101, 619-233-5979).

8:30pm - 9:30pm - Salsa lessons at Cafe Sevilla.

Transportation

Transportation will not be provided to or from any of the wedding events. However, if you are incapable of driving yourself home after the reception, we will provide transportation for you to your hotel or home (within 15 miles of the reception site). top

Immaculata Church at USD - 5998 Alcala Park, San Diego, CA 92110
From North: I-5 S toward San Diego. Slight left at I-805 S (signs for I-805 S). Take the exit onto CA-163 S toward Downtown. Take exit 4 for Friars Rd. Turn left at Friars Rd. Turn right at Via Las Cumbres. Turn left at Linda Vista Rd.
From South: Take I-5 N. Then take the I-8 E exit toward El Centro. Follow signs for Morena Blvd and merge onto Morena Blvd. Slight right at Linda Vista Rd. 5998 Alcala Park San Diego, CA 92110

Spanish Village Art Center at Balboa Park - 1770 Village Place San Diego, CA 92101
From Downtown San Diego Go east on Broadway Street . Turn left (north) on Park Boulevard . You will pass under a pedestrian overpass, which is adjacent to the Museum. Turn left at the first traffic light beyond the overpass ( Village Place ) From the south or the north, via Interstate 5 Exit at Pershing Drive . Stay left. At the traffic light ( Florida Drive ), turn left. Follow Florida Drive , passing the traffic signal at the Naval Hospital . The next street is Zoo Place . Turn left onto Zoo Place and go up the hill to the traffic light. Turn left onto Park Blvd. At the next traffic light turn right onto Village Place . From the north, via Interstate 805 or Interstate 15 Take 163 south, keeping to the left as you cross under Interstate 8 (Do not take University or Washington—follow signs for Downtown). After about 2 miles, take exit marked Park Blvd. (Be careful of several lane changes). Turn left onto Park Blvd. You will pass under a pedestrian overpass, which is adjacent to the Museum. Turn left at the first traffic light beyond the overpass ( Village Place ) From the east or west, via Interstate 8 Exit onto 163 South, then keep to the left (Do not take University or Washington—follow signs for Downtown). After about 2 miles, keep in the rightmost lane, then take exit marked Park Blvd. (Follow the signs and be careful of several lane changes). Turn left onto Park Blvd. You will pass under a pedestrian overpass, which is adjacent to the Museum. Turn left at the first traffic light beyond the overpass ( Village Place )
